I have been just re-loading now for a year so I am definitely not an expert but I do know a few things. My question is does anyone have a good combo or advice. The 8.2 and 8.5 at 2.26ish would stay subsonic but were not reliable with feed issues and the 8.3 at 2.16 would stay sub sonic but had cycling issues here and there and the 8.5 at 2.16 would run great but would go over sub sonic. Then I did 8.3 and 8.5 with 2.16 COAL no crimp. I started at 8.2gr of powder and about 2.26ish COAL and worked up to 8.5gr with light-med crimp. My setup is a 12.5in green mountain barrel (pistol port) with a gem-tech MM9 semi-auto bolt carrier and h2 buffer. I have read from other posts about the load (which is where I started) but I cannot get it running like I want. I am sure I can fix all my problems with 1680 but I would like to get this to work. I recently got a bunch of 208gr HPBT blems from midway and the only powder that I can affordably get my hands on at the moment is lil gun. I am having some trouble with my sub load recently and would like to get a take on it. I have been reading this forum for a few months now and decided to join because I need some advice.
